But I will use tech, spend a token, exhaust Creuss, and exhaust AI Dev. Algorithm to research Fighter II.
confirming you want to do that? just in case if you didn’t know… that would mean all your tiny fighters would count against your “Fleet Pool”… ie. sometimes your max in a system would only be like 2 big ships and 2 fighters if your fleet size was 4 (rather than 4 big ships and 8 fighters) Sometimes other factions have benefits or factors that compensate for that little tidbit… but for others, that can be a real handicap.
It’s actually only Fighters “in excess of my ships’ capacity” that count against Fleet pool, so I can’t have 50 fighters just chilling together, but I could actually have 3 Carriers and 12 fighters still. But I can only have up to 3 fighters by themselves.
