Dropped:
- Indonesia - I seem to care more about time duration nowadays. Indo is great, but takes a bit of time to play. At that same duration, we can play 1830. And 1830 is showing better depth.
- Bridges of Shangri-La dropped again. It is on Number 11 though.
- Food Chain Magnate - surprise drop, but like Indo, I am valuing time duration more. Cube Rails are just unbeatable. While they lack the depth of Indonesia and 1830, they pack a lot of punch! And FCM doesn’t seem to make it to the top. Yes. I would even suggest we play 1830 instead.
- Intrigue - dropped but still one of my fave party games.
NOTES
- Fresh Fish is the new BIG FISH in the pond!
- Are you really surprised about Hot Streak?
- Just on number 12 is Chess. Yes. Chess.
- I said last year how my top 4 are solid, but then I spoke too soon and see how Cube Rails worm their way up kicking Indonesia and TGZ down. I’d like to play more South African Railroads and see where it lands.
- Innovation Ultimate is definitely a product of novelty. So much to explore with this new edition and the redesigned expansions. Every game of Inno Ult (or even vanilla Inno) is always a rollercoaster of fun.
