I enjoyed my one BGA play of this enough to decide to purchase it. Haven’t played it yet, but sadly that’s nothing new…
I’m afraid that I am so burned out on (a) Lord of the Rings and (b) Pandemic variants that it’s probably beyond me to enjoy this.
Had a demo at Tabletop Scotland - it is a very complicated and customisable pandemic for sure. Lots to tinker with and amazing table presence. Also didn’t spend £65 on it, but that is cos I have too many games …
Having good fun with this one, bought mainly because of the IP, don’t care much about Pandemic. But it’s really good!
I do like the sound of those enhancements to the system. Probably also a significant upgrade to Fall of Rome, so I could see myself selling FOR and picking this up. I think I’ll wait to play it first, though.
