This all seems fair, and I’m still havering over whether to get it (but on the positive side) , but my impression—which may well have been formed by the circumstances in which I’ve met the game—is vastly more positive than ditto of Terraforming Mars or Ark Nova, which clearly have many overlaps in terms of mechanics. I think it has the right level of interlocking puzzliness for me.
I’m excited for it because it’s been described as “Simpler, quicker Ark Nova” and that sounds pretty good.
