Ship in warp exits warp at unexplored Rog
@RogerBW asked for a die roll:
Exploration card is:
Rigelians: need to exceed D4 to recruit, with d6+1: 3
mmhh… looks like noone wants to join this peaceful Federation…
Other ship at warp exits warp at Doptheria.
Science fleet braves the stellar nursery
Research into orbital laboratory.
@RogerBW asked for a die roll:
So that was
Loses a ship on 4+: d6: 1
One command left.
Build a starbase on……
Hmm.
Mazar.
Build:
colonize Indri VIII and build a Research a Culture nodes (cost: 3C, 2R, 2P, ship in orbit)
build 4 ships on Romulus (cost: 4P)
put a research on each project (cost: 2R)
Command:
@RogerBW asked for a die roll:
Verteron Array Beam Emitter is complete (giving a warp token).
d3+1: 3
Command:
That’s bad…
Build phase: - colonise Rigel (1 ship, 1 culture)
Command Phase:
C1 - poke Paulson nebula (into current research if successful)
C2. C3 - ship at Sigma Draconis enters warp, moves to Arken (but doesn’t end movement so doesn’t face the hazard I think? If I’m wrong here I might rethink this) and explores to the East (I think we can just about fit most things in there)
C4, C5 - ship in Coridian enters warp and exits at Weytahn (and then probably explodes)
Is this how military industry works?
If it is, it’s a great way to colonise and immediately get another ship
That’s rather the idea, it’s how I used it last game I think. The card just says ‘during the build phase’ so as far as I can tell, I can build the node first and then build the ship. Expensive though! I can’t see any reason why I can’t do that but if I can’t then I probably would have made different moves.
