Man, this review makes me so sad in a way… Like, the game sounds like EVERYTHING Maryse and I would like, a real best of of our favourite games…
That apparently doesn’t scale well at all at two players.
Damn it.

I don’t know exactly that it doesn’t scale.
We played at two and I think maybe the game changes a bit what strategies are valid… but I had fun. Maybe one could just add the bot player from solo to two-player? It might help as it follows a very diverse strategy and dabbles in all the areas of the game enabling players to piggyback a bit.
Reviewers aren’t automatically right about everything. I’d do some more research if you are interested in the game
To me this review sounded a bit like Efka expected to not like the game (see the previous reviews he mentioned) because it is still “just another Euro” but unexpectedly he had fun playing it and so this review.

I found it interesting that he got beaten by an insane strategy in the last euro game that he disliked and liked this one which he won on the flukey turn of a card.
