I have determined that whatever number I feel like bidding, I need to increase it by at least 12 if I want to win or get second.

yeah, this looks like a fun and fast party game. Easy to understand the rules, hard to figure out a strategy (I think not all groups would bid as high as happened in this game.)

@COMaestro my last couple bids were ‘pick (what I thought was) a reasonable number, double it, round to a round number and then increase it a bit’.
