Actually, seeing as you might have a reserve or two, I’d best step aside for this first game. Sorry to be a pain but I’ve got a few other (non-gaming) things to focus on and trying to setup to run Fortune and Glory here soon too.

OK, @RossM do you have a scenario preference? Options seem to be
Arracourt (biased to Allies)
Moyland Wood (a bit more complex)

No preference happy to be on a team that’s doomed to lose.

Heads - Griffster77 is Allies (south side of map, olive drab, facing right), RossM is Axis (north side of map, feldgrau, facing left).

And I should have mentioned - until I have time to code up custom dice, a d6 is:
1-2 Infantry
3 Armour
4 Grenade
5 Star
6 Flag

Can you remind me how to roll dice?

Using square brackets rather than braces:

which I’ll put below:
5d6: 4 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 5 = 13

Note that the post becomes owned by the “system” user, so make sure you’ve got everything sorted before you send it. Also this doesn’t work if you write a post then edit the die roll command into it, only when you first post it.

Logically it makes sense, they just look a bit like sandbags. But they would be yellow!

My right flank is the one with two hills in?

You’re looking from top down. So your left flank is the one with River

Yup, RossM’s left/right are reversed relative to the board image. (Because you’re on a common deck of command cards I think this is necessary - though I could change the text in your PMs to say west/east if that would help?)

I’ll put a label on each unit in the next iteration of the map.
