Letters from Whitechapel

Okay, I am not at a computer where I can update the map right now, but I think we all can follow along for the moment.

@InkyBloc, your move?

South to 34/55

@Lordof1 then Assussanni to move.

You accidentally placed a clue marker at Ross’s new location.

Specifically I moved the 170 marker…

Move left of 46

@Assussanni to move, RossM to search/arrest.

Move South twice to 171-183.

@RossM then the Whistle_Pig Collective to search/arrest.

154 140 please

No to both.

Whistle_Pig Collective, then InkyBloc.

Pretty sure there’s nothing going around either of us, so

WhistlePig arrests 98

then

InkyBloc searches 34, 55

Indeed, No to all three.

@Lordof1 then Assussanni to search/arrest.

I’ll try a random arrest at 46. Apologies, honestly I’ve rather lost the thread of the game so I honestly have very little idea where Jack is :cake: One of the perils of forum games I think…

Jack is not there.

@Assussanni, your search/arrest?

I’ll attempt an arrest at 183.

Jack is not there.

And with that, I believe it is the end of the round.

Jack makes a walking move and reaches his hideout.

Heading into the final night!

Fourth and final night

Lead investigator is Assussanni.

Jack has 1 Coach and 1 Alley move.

There will be four Unfortunates including three dummies.

So: @COMaestro please place those four on red-numbered circles (i.e. 3 21 27 65 84 147 149 158), and tell me which is the real victim.
Then Assussanni will place the police tokens.
Then the dummy will be removed, and we start the pre-hunt phase.

(This means that when the dummies are removed there will be only one target for Jack to strike.)

The Unfortiunates are placed.

@Assussanni now places the police (by private message). You have seven tokens to place, two dummies and the five investigators. The places they may go are:

  • five spots where the police were at the end of last night
  • two yellow-bordered crossings

Once this is done, the dummy victims will be removed, and we’ll go into the pre-hunt phase.

The police are placed, and the dummies are removed; the victim is at 149.

The pre-hunt cycle commences:

  • Jack decides whether to strike now or wait. If he strikes, exit this loop and go to the main hunt phase.
  • Jack moves one step left on the track
  • Lead Investigator moves each Unfortunate one circle (not across or next to a Police token, not onto a prior crime scene [3, 84, 132, 168]).
  • Jack reveals one Police token (remove a dummy, an investigator remains in place)

So first, @COMaestro decides…
