My wife found Calico at the by-the-pound Goodwill, so it probably cost less than $3, and looks to be in pretty good condition.
Managed to get Dorf Romantik for £20 on Ebay.
Just got a copy of magical athletes off travel games. What you got to lose
Just rewatched the SUSD Bohnanza review from a few years ago and itās really funny, but itās also right in the middle of the peak surreal period so is very, very strange. The entire first 5 minutes is pretending Beans are a dangerous substance.
If beans actually looked like the Bohnanza artwork, I think that would be an entirely valid take.
Take Time - new game from Libellud. Itās very pretty as one would expect from this publisher.
Spend a bit of money on trick takers
- Trick & Snipers
- Tricky Time Crisis
- Trust Me
and a couple of PitchCar expansions: Long Straights and The Upsilon
Long straights are great. Where did you find the content in stock?
Spelspul.nl
I found Dixit: MNK there (forgot to mention this) so I looked around if thereās any I can pick up
Bought Switch To and more mini chips
Backed Bagged and Boarded, just retail level with the magnetic signature boards. The playmats donāt fit in the box which means Iāll never use them. I donāt need metal coins either.
Everyone needs metal coins
Well, true but I donāt need game specific metal coins
I have metal coins for 2 games: John Company 2e and Pax Pamir 2e. Nobody needs metal coins but they are very nice, Iām happy to pick up an upgrade for a Wehrlegig title but tend to avoid them otherwise. Would love some more info about the new edition Container and whether the metal makes any sense there. Iāll wait till itās in peopleās hands I guess!
After a long time seeing it recommended on here I finally picked up Spirit Island. Itās a big game, didnāt realise it had so many spirits in the base game!
Time for a learning game this afternoon.
I have a few sets of Illuminati Coins I got as demo pay a while back. I especially like that one side has big obvious values.
Iāve bought 5 (Five) games recently
-
Duplik - a drawing game where you explain a scene and then people are marked on the accuracy of the drawing.
-
Fliptoons - a deck building game with some real āhope this worksā ideas
-
Druids of Edora - a game by feld published by Alea that doesnāt even have a rulebook on bgg and seems mysterious for no good reason
-
Covids - a dexterity game where you pretend to be crows picking items up
-
mottainai.
Oooh
I had Duplik on my radar as a possibility for a while. Iāve seen good reviews of it - Iām a fan of drawing games where being able to draw isnāt a necessity.
Same here. I canāt remember where I saw it but itās sort of occupied a bit of thought for a while so now it seems like itās back again i thought Iād get it!
Corvids, perhaps? :). (I think we can all agree at this point that picking up Covids is bad.)
I bet that was autocorrect!
