Slight counter:
Barrier and obstacle are similar enough and general enough that a weird word like reef wouldn’t need to link them so it could be 45 or 54

I think I’m more in the 45 54 camp, obstacle seems a little too obscure but I’m not entirely sure. Happy to go with others if we end up tied.
Guess I’m breaking the tie in favor of 5-3. I think we’ve seen enough clues to know that “there would be a better clue for this exact position” is not necessarily something we can go on, especially as Roger mentioned he might be thinking ahead and setting up for future clues as well.
By the way for those who are playing along a curse doesn’t mean we picked incorrectly necessarily. Sometimes a cursed path is the most efficient path for a number of reasons.
Although in this instance…
I think 5-4
Also 5-4 here
Yes 5-4. I think if I were clue master I would not intentionally add a curse. Therefore i infer I got the last one wrong. Mind, the lack of feedback is daunting!
I agree, 5-4.
My instincts have been kind of wrong so although I think it’s 5-4, I’m going to say 2-1! Nah just kidding, let’s do 5-4.
I have no idea what that could possibly be so I’m probably sitting out any discussion of this round!
Me too, I have no idea.
My knowledge of Flinders is a street in Melbourne. So any surrounding Australia.
What’s the protocol on googling for other associations? Feels a bit cheaty to me?
Also - at our annual boardgame weekend so may be intermittent, drunk or both …
The main Flinders I know is Flinders Petrie, a 20s archaeologist with a penchant for sleeping rough at his digs, and expecting everyone else to do the same. Also he often wandered around naked.
I’m going to defer to any flinders experts here.
When I was running this at ACWest, @Lordof1 regarded it as a necessity.
I’m not sure my Flinders fits. I don’t think he ever wore a bikini.
Happy to go with 5-5 then since it sounds like Australia is the only thing we have to go on.
Likewise. 5-5 (or 6-4) is good with me unless anyone thinks of anything else.
