No, it’s another empty space.

Agreed on Obstacle, I don’t see Crossroads hitting anything else.

I agree with only Obstacle as well. I’m vaguely aware that there was a TV show called Crossroads, but that is the extent of my knowledge about it and therefore I have no idea if it featured memorable hair.

I think it was from the 80s so possibly yes? But I think its most famous characteristic was its rubbishness.

Crossroads was a hotel, was it not? I am not sure if that helps …

It’s a song by Cream whose drummer was Ginger Baker and ginger is a hair color sorta so it’s gotta be 4-2.

The above is a joke.

I’m putting myself in Roger’s head here and I should point out there was an Operation Crossroads where nuclear tests were carried out at Bikini Atoll, and I think that’s probably more likely a clue than the TV show if I know our fine @RogerBW .

Therefore I commend 1-2 to the house.

I like it! Great pull.

As good as any! Saves worrying about where Benny from Crossroads fits in …

I didn’t know the name of the nuclear testing programme carried out there, great knowledge! I was wondering if it being Crossroads rather than Crossroad was significant, or is it one of those words that always has a “s” on the end anyway? I can’t decide now that I’m looking at it.

I support 1-2 as the choice.

You have found one of the treasures!

“Barrier.”

Well done @Lordof1 - barrier has to be 4-4?

Yeah I think so.

Very nice @Lordof1 !

I don’t see Wax as barrier - B that would be more like “seal”

I’m on board with Barrier being 4-4 (e.g. wax as a moisture barrier).

I think I agree with the general consensus of 4-4.

4-4 is a waterhole. Water is refilled to 7.

“Reef”

I’m guessing this is 5-3: (Great) Barrier Reef + Obstacle (ships can run aground on reefs).

I agree with that.
