@RossM , then @GeeBizzle (clockwise from former Chairman) must choose how much to spend on retirements for their pensioners. Whoever spends the most will get first pick of London Season prestige cards. If you spend the same amount, the tiebreaker is that GeeBizzle controls the PM, so will pick first.
The Foundry and Rotten Borough are self-explanatory, I think, so I’ll just mention Lord Highgate: 3 VP and a £2 discount on all future retirement prices. Cannot be traded, and means you can only buy the £14 (£12) and £20 (£18) mansions in future.
I’ll also mention, for new players, that the people sitting on huge piles of cash should be very worried about the shaky position of the Company, and are most motivated to avoid it failing. A player sitting on 7 VP with a power lead (currently +3 VP) might consider deliberately tanking the Company and weathering -1 VP per share and whatever random penalty is drawn (and applied to all players). The game ends immediately if the Company fails.

Does the foundry count as a business for income/votes etc
It’s an enterprise, so it can be traded. It has the industry symbol, so it can potentially get bonuses or taxed according the PM policy when parliament meets, and it can count for power in the endgame, if industry is in the 1 or 2 power spot. It does not have any vote symbols, so is irrelevant for that. It does not have any income symbol.
Likewise, the rotten borough is an enterprise, so can be traded. It has the social symbol, so it can potentially get taxed, and can count for power in the endgame. It has 3 vote symbols, and no income symbol.
