Considering what happened, I believe that this is good to incentivises new blood into our bureaucracy - something we direly needed.
We have loads of blood, it’s everywhere!
I’ll draw another law as this one doesn’t massively interest me.
Lots of power for the PM with that one
Friendly reminder that if you prefer one law over another (and its associated policy), you can try to exert leverage now - once the decision is made, you have less influence.
I think with the various events in India diminishing our standing, making the prime minister more powerful is odd
I don’t know looks pretty useful from where I’m sitting.
Happy to spin the power wheel to either option in return for votes.
I’m sensing reluctance to giving me such powers. So with that in mind let’s look at one more law please.
(Note that Nepotism is usually not considered when Military Affairs appoints commanders. It is specifically and only applied when the player holding the Prime Minister appoints commanders, because the Law says so.)
A fitting fate for our officers
I still like the first one
I’m hesitant to put the first law in front of everyone as we need officers and writers and fear it may sway us too much towards writers who then have no orders to fulfil. I don’t think any of these laws really help the company. Happy to be persuaded otherwise.
(Don’t forget the free writer on every family action effect is still in play, and will remain so until a Law is passed that provides a different free action.)
Precisely! We are all going to get a writer anyway, may as well them more profitable!
I could be persuaded to go for the military one instead. The Board of Control is a no go for me. I would have to be heavily “motivated” to go for that one.
Let put the writers privilege to the test.
I trust that people will not flood the writers and we can send out some officers.
You have to say which policy direction you are taking too. (Even if no-one cares about the policy chosen, they might want the vote to succeed/fail because of the policies adjacent to it.)
You should also declare how many votes you are committing. Then ping the next player clockwise to vote.
(All players are free to declare now how they will vote, and I will assume they follow through when it becomes their turn, unless conditions are set, but technically voting proceeds clockwise.)
I commit 3 votes move the wheel to industrial bonus and pass to @COMaestro.
Commit all my votes to “Yea”.
