Meet Caesar the No Drama Llama!
Pictured here with my wife and older kiddo. A new farm store opened near us and this was one of the grand opening events. Super docile critter, enduring petting and hugs from lots of people and kids among all the hubbub of shoppers passing by constantly.

I fell off the bench while working on my dragon flag. This was not a failure mode I had planned for.

lie down on a bench (or the floor in front of a post, it’s probably safer…). Reach behind your head, and grab the immovable object. keeping the body straight, lift your body below your shoulders off the bench, until your toes are pointed straight up. then lower yourself until your back is almost touch the bench, and repeat. That’s the full version, which is, as you’ve probably guessed, hard. I can almost do it in tuck, and am working on isometric holds with straight legs. I need to film it to be sure, but I"m at about 60 degrees for 15 seconds.
(Bruce Lee was fond of the movement, and it’s either named by or after him. Older descriptions call it the candlestick, I think.)

It’s also my Son’s birthday, who purely by accident, as we’d been up 20 hours at this point, is named after a major character in the Franchise. The registrar pointed this out to us a when we went to register the birth.

This year has been a bit rough. In fact, I can’t remember the last time it wasn’t.
Between things at home and things at work (and everything in between) I have ended up in a place of poor mental health and I’ve been there for a while.
Despite getting to the end of every week tired, anxious, stressed and depressed and promising myself I’d do something about it, I kept finding reasons not to.
Until today. After a particularly bad week I decided it was time. Today I referred myself for talking therapy.
Does that bring its own set of worries? Yes. But I also feel a bit excited about what it might bring.
I’ve written this message as a small next step.

Some years ago (in the late 00s) I was in a situation that felt similar to what you describe. In those years I had talking therapy twice (with a year break in between) and with very good short and longterm results—after the second set (same therapist). I hope you will find the help you need. Admitting to yourself that you need help is a good step forward. Wishing you all the best

Congrats on taking a difficult step forwards 
I’ve been doing talking therapy for a while and find it helpful. One thing that’s.worth bearing in mind is that if you don’t click with your therapist then it doesn’t mean that therapy doesn’t work for you, you might just need to shop around to find someone who is a good fit
