I’ve checked and as yet there are NO modules. And I find the no-mod version on par with the Oceans reef variant, just a twig of a game. I’ll hop on if someone opens one, but likely will need to wait until a few modules are implemented.

The board is so crowded at 4, I don’t know how 5 even works. At minimum it would require a materially different approach.

Silver: determine the total of silver in your supply. Silver on
your boards is worthless.

No, the surprise to me was that silver was +1 off the board. I thought it’s value was covering -1s. I was surprised that covering a -1 was net zero and that my score dropped when, for instance, paying for emigration.
And then I thought it was just a heuristic, like “silver can always cover a -1 so we’ll factor that into the score ahead of time.”
And then it all clicked, that silver on or off the board was points neutral (unless you have a -2 to cover…)
Anyway, this was really good. Laid back but engaging, occasionally challenging, very satisfying. After taking Odin for a walk after so many years I think I can safely conclude that Odin > Ark Nova, and it’s a pretty fair comparison categorically.
Not ready to move Ark Nova off the shelf, but it’s plays might be capped if I find I’d always rather get Odin for that kind of session.

Ah. Yeah. They always do. Emigration is a net positive, of course.
The drawback of instantly buying a boat is that you’re missing out on the points if you built it via actions.

a) Yes, each cowboy left in supply is +1 to your firepower (and each cowboy who loses a fight goes to your supply). You don’t have to spend or discard them to increase your firepower, it’s passive.
b) Each cowboy in supply is carried over to next round as either an extra action or another “gun” to keep in reserve in perpetuity.
