I take it back, forecast temperatures tonight are below freezing so I’ve wrapped the plum tree to stop the blossom freezing and brought a lot of stuff in from the greenhouse…

An astute move. The last thing one wants is a set of frozen plums. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

My 4 tulips survived the recent storms and are actually blooming this year.

Yeah, just 3 in the picture but I swear there is another one off to the side.

More lovely colours today. I’d forgotten I even had any bluebells!

I’ve only got hte one, in my front garden. It didn’t do very well last year- but then again, I almost tore it out. I didn’t know what it was until I went to a nursery, and then didn’t know about Heuchera untill I started watching Gardener’s World. I might still take it out, it doesn’t really fit in my front garden idea but I don’t really need the space right now so I’m content for it to be where it is

Some updates from my gardening. I’m hoping for good weather so I can get my tomatos and things outside hardening them up before I put them into the ground/give the rest away

Things are starting to take off in the garden. Unfortunately this includes the slugs so I’ve taken to combining my early morning coffee with slug hunting in the vague hope that some of my petunias will survive…

I have updates. Everything is planted out, I’ve got a few new things. I’ll take photos tomorrow but in the meantime enjoy this salvia. It’s ‘O

It’s my favourite NZ tree as well! When it gets late in the year and all the red starts to appear, it makes me genuinely happy.

Your last update was:

but nothing after, and you did say it was your third attempt… I’m guessing they didn’t last?

As I mentioned in the “recently played games” thread, my parents were visiting this weekend, which meant we made some progress with my perpetually overgrown vegetable patch:

The top picture is what it looks like now, the bottom is roughly what it looked like before (that’s actually the bit I still have left to tackle).

There’s also some more nice flowers coming out:

I’m not really enjoying the heat at the moment, but some of my flowers seem to be:

The comedy vegetables are also coming along nicely:
