Fury of Dracula PBF - Game 1

I’m disliking how thorough this is.

Mina has one rubbish ticket and one reasonably good one. (And, as all can see, no event.)

Can Klaussenberg wait till next turn?

I’d favour dealing with it sooner but that’s easy to say when I’m not the one who’s going to do it.

I wouldn’t favour Mina facing anything alone after last time. Two hunters always makes things harder for the bad guys.

I was thinking Munich or maybe Venice by train: my tickets are a bit pants at the moment.

We can wait until next turn to go to and deal with Klausenberg, and I’ll take it if need be.

Your Venice idea might just work too - more of a punt than Munich but might prove more rewarding! Will all depend on if he went through Munich whether he headed north, west or south from there. So, it’s a fair call to try it.

Not sure he’d want to risk being one move from us though if he can help it. Unless of course, he is stalking me.

I think you’re thinking of Jaws :shark:

I’d gladly teach you how to swim. Come on in: the water’s lovely!

Bit to far from the sea at the minute. Maybe next turn?

Just to clarify for everyone, the only combats that can involve multiple hunters are Dracula himself, and the New Vampire encounter. Dracula’s combats automatically include all hunters at that location. The New Vampire only encounters one hunter, unless other hunters at that location who wish to participate choose to become Delayed. This means during their next action, they remove the Delayed status and their turn is over.

@Whistle_Pig thoughts, my Lord - as it is your action first?

I have a moderately useful train ticket. Can we say what events we have? I’m not sure if mine is useful or not.

Best let @COMaestro confirm. I believe we can discuss things out loud but Dracula has to hear them. We can’t swap info secretly except between two players who are currently in the same city, and even then that might require the Trade action.

My suggestion was for you and @RogerBW to determine which of you has the best ability to move by train if required, with the one most locomotively mobile to travel by road to Szeged and the one least able to travel by road to Zagreb. As you are currently on the same space you may be able to share that information privately, but best wait for the maestro’s confirmation.

This is correct. As long as Dracula gets to hear it, you can share any information you like. Privately sharing info requires a Trade action.

I think unless the event cards are usable outside of combat it isn’t a good idea to be too specific.

I’ll discuss my cards more with individuals using my Special Power if it looks like they are in a situation where they might be useful.

I don’t mind saying though that my train tickets are a bit pants. Actually I think I already did say so.

Let’s try to help speed this up:

Lord Godalming (@Whistle_Pig): if your event card allows you (and/or all of us) to move further by road or train than normal, then I suggest you go to Szeged. If not, then I suggest you go to Zagreb.

Then Mina (@RogerBW) can go to the other of those two cities.

Good fortune, everyone!

Sounds fine to me.

Ok. I’ll move by road to Zagreb.

Mina on her turn will move by road to Szeged.

Dr Seward this turn will travel by road to Belgrade.

A suggestion for Van Helsing (@MichaelCule) - if Zagreb is empty of vampiric trip advisor reviews, just go to Munich to check if he has gone through to the west at all.

Lord Godalming moves to Zagreb and finds nothing.

Dr. Seward moves to Belgrade and also finds nothing.

Van Helsing (@MichaelCule) to move.

So, Zagreb is empty, so if he has headed west has has to have stopped at Munich. So Van Helsing should go there. if empty, then he is still in the east!
