When we eventually got to the space bazaar we thought it would be nice to spend a down shift going out for a walk. It was pleasant, if a bit breezy - must have been a leak to vacuum in the hull somewhere.

When we returned to the ship, Burgess saw a shiny penny and bent down to pick it up. He never saw the blackjack aimed at the back of his head as when he bent over he stuck his bum out, catching his assailant off guard and leaving him sprawling on the ground.

Burgess picked up the lucky penny, oblivious, walked into the ship and shut the airlock, all the time musing on how lucky he had been to find the penny …
