Favourite small box games

There may already be a thread for this (I did check but apologies if I missed it!) but I’m a big fan of small box games. I love a collection I can fit in a shoe box to take on holiday or whatever (yes I know some of you manage to distill your games down into a thimble to take away but I’m not that person!) and I love the simplicity that the small format can bring to games. While many still offer lots of challenge, they are distilled right down without too much extraneous bumf that seems to pad out a lot of games.

So what favourites do you have? (I feel wallet games are a separate topic but happy to discuss those too as love packing a couple in my bag to take anywhere!)

Some of mine:

HIVE pocket

Love Letter

High Society

Arboretum

Scout

Parade

It’s 2-3 players only but I really like Skulls of Sedlec.

Panda Panda was also a hit on a recent holiday. Rainbow is a lot fun. For 4+ Seas of Strife is a great tricktaker

We take Love Letter, Coup and Würfel Bohnanza on every family holiday; have done for years. All three are tiny and all three are great.

Good list!

Top travel (or travel-able) games is a similar thread with more suggestions.

Yeah some good suggestions in there but as I said, a lot of it is shrinking big games to be able to travel with them - I just want the streamlined smaller games!

For me Innovation (assuming not Ultimate) and Mottainai Mini are really up there. This is very dependent on liking these flavours of Chudyk design which are not for everyone it’s well established.

Of recent releases of Trick Takers for Tindahan is the stand out. Although it’s a re-release. Anansi went under the radar but is also excellent.

Not quite as small but I’m really very fond of Burgles Bros. For a tidy package that’s a topnotch coop it’s hard to beat. Although i think @RogerBW might have been underwhelmed.

I’ve been buying small box more than anything else recently because my main gaming opportunity is a local pub meetup.

As such, very excited about:
Spots
Courtesans
Rebel Princess

Others in my collection:
Herbaceous pocket
High Society
Railroad Ink
Love Letter (Archer)
Lost Cities
Push It

Also enjoyed Scout and Hive pocket (but WOW it’s difficult) and really must play Hanamikoji.

Yeah, I liked this on first play, bought it, and a few plays later went off it hard. I think maybe the plays felt too similar?

The one that falls into my pocket is Sea Salt & Paper.
