The server on which this machine was hosted was rebooted for a kernel upgrade this morning… and didn’t come back. It turned out to have a dead BIOS battery, which was replaced within ten minutes. (I continue to recommend Hetzner.de if you want hosting on real hardware rather than virtual machines.)
