The limit appears to be ten dice.
Aha! I’ve messed up the code! Because of the way the original author wrote it, “a valid die roll” needs to be specified in three different places… and it turns out you can have any number of dice you like, but not a number that has a zero in it.
(I’ll cap it to 256; I think that should be plenty.)
That’ll come in with the next update.

Nice work on the plugin. I’d recommend a tiny improvement, which is to allow arbitrary whitespace so that [ roll 1 d 7 ] works and d5: 5 also works, just because it does no harm and might be occasionally helpful
