I reckon ‘roll’ is in there with socket and Peter Falk.
Not sure on the others - just that ‘street’ and ‘path’ were ok for them and we think we know what ‘path’ is linked to.
Right, roll with socket and Peter Falk. I think Run with Street, and Rattle with path, canopy, and Bambi.

My feeling is that neither Run or Rattle obviously fit the path/ canopy/ bambi group so are more likely to 1 and 4.
Clutching at straws now - Impasse/ Frame/ Bob could be ‘Cage’ - impasse is locked in, a cage is a bit like a frame. Don’t ask about Bob! Although didn’t SpongeBob live in a cage? Admittedly this is me trying to retrofit ‘rattle’ into this group.
Nothing more than rattle makes me think of rattlesnake, which seems loosely connected to the nature-themed set of clues.
Rattle - seems to fit with the nature theme. My hunch is something else but my hunches have been so bad. Let‘s go with nature.
Roll - seems to go with the socket.
Run - if the word street was associated with was race… then run would fit here. Which would also explain the ease of making a distinction from path, nobody races on a path except weird people and we, dear nerds, are not weird. Also run <> impasse are opposites.

I think run goes with Bob and frame. My feeling is that Bob and frame links with track and you have a track to run on. So that Would be 4.
