Civolution (PBF PREP)

A lot more scanning and a lot more editing before this one might be ready. I’m fortunate that I’m able to do it all out of a brand new box! (unless there already is an online version of this?)

My usual approach is first to look for a Tabletop Simulator version, then pull the assets file, download all the references images, and break them apart as needed.

see this one looks better than the first one. I like my board pieces to be visible and readable (especially from a cell phone screen). I like the zoom function too.

As I’m setting up. Who would like to play? I’m looking for 4 dedicated players! This game might be a long one. Has anyone played this one before? There are a few good learn to play videos.

I’m in. Haven’t done much PBF before, but I really like Civo, so willing to muddle through it

If you know of any friends who want to join us let them know. This is a really good learning mechanism.

I made it in. I am the same Aaron from the BGG forum

A way I have played before is to set up a TTS game, take your move, save, then post the save file and a small description of your move

you’ll see that this is better than TTS (for hosting and learning a game) but for just play, I guess we could do that too if players are willing? That means then I could play too. Hmmm…

nope, disregard (took a look at the TTS one again). Always good to have a host… and playing by post. That way nothing can be “peeked” at either :slightly_smiling_face:

Ok, didn’t know someone was playing host/moderator.

yes, I’m the host moderator and there will be 4 players.
