Apparently this person is called Dani, but I only got that from the YouTube comments. SU&SD really doesn’t seem to do very well with female presenters, do they?

They posted her name (Dani[elle] Standring) along with a link to her Instagram page alongside the videos on the SU&SD website, which is where I go to watch their content.
But maybe most people watch their videos directly on YouTube? And do YouTube shorts even have a description? I don’t know, I tend to avoid YouTube unless I’m trying to learn how to repair something.

“short” is just a presentation choice - you can take the video ID from the URL and turn it into a normal one, which is what I did to find the comments and the name. Thanks for letting me know about the out-of-band information; I do think an in-band introduction would have been polite.
(I thought they’d mostly given up on the web site these days in favour of Moar Video.)

I liked this “wrong way 'round” introduction video with Matt (even if he did fail at basic introductions) :).
I really appreciate the brevity of Dani’s videos and so I’m watching them all; but they’re weird. A quick-fire overview of the game – great! All those regular moments of hand-slapping over-the-top enthusiasm, though… we know that this is all paid for by the publishers, so that just comes across as “I’m trying really hard to sell you this thing”. Even if she genuinely feels that way about some of the games, there’s no reason for us to trust that, so I wish she’d gone with a tone that recognised this.
