A sense of dread spread across the town. The previous days events weighed heavy on the simple townsfolk. The night flew past. Restless, the whole town slept the sleep of the guilty. No one rested well.
The bell tolls. Sunrise comes too soon. A shriek is heard from the town square. As the town gathers round it becomes clear the death of the storyteller was not an isolated event. The corpse of @Whistle_Pig is found in the square.
Fevered discussion breaks out in the square.
(All nominations and nominated are reset. Discussion is open again. @COMaestro please feel free to still narrate your death -the echoes of which still ring in the ears of the townsfolk, @Whistle_Pig please also feel free to narrate the scene presented to the village this morning)

Only the head of Whistle_pig remained, perched jauntily atop an ornamental flower pot in the town square. The killer had even gone to the trouble of tucking one of the flowers behind the victimâs ear, which some of the villagers considered to be unnecessarily tasteless.
