Which I appreciate. Previous installments have had all of his - openly acknowledged, of course.
I like these lists as they have a lot of down-catalog and older games that you might otherwise miss. As a (re)publisher, he especially looks for overlooked gems which he can republish or refine.
Some items that caught my eye for further research:
- Botswana / Wildlife Safari
- Patterns
- Orongo
- Trio / Nana
- Mille Fiori (mostly sure this is a “play someone else’s copy” thing, but it keeps coming up)
- MLEM (only played on BGA, would love to try IRL)
A bit too much Knizia sycophancy for my tastes. I know he’s good but to be that into the designer is too much like making a judgement before the object is interacted with.
