Any love for foamcore?... Or... how do I store this thing?

Well the second part of the title is ‘how do I store this thing?’. So I think we’re good to keep it all in one topic.

I hereby sanction adding any storage method to the thread, as it’s originator!

(Plus, I bought a 3d printer too…)

So I’ve been storing my shoes in this rack thing from IKEA…

I’ve been a busy bee with the printer lately making organisers for my daughter’s bedroom…

… much still to do.

Also I finally got around to designing and printing another insert. Rebuilding Chicago, taking advantage of the colour switching of the H2C.

So I think my quest for organisation and space saving in games just reached a worrying new level…

50% volume saving through total box replacement.

I fear for the health of my shelves if this escalates and the mass on them continues to grow!

Edit:

I’ve had a busy weekend…

Aside from the slight underextrusion on the black I’m pretty happy. Another 50% space saving!

Edit number 2:

Ok, I think I may have a problem (or a new obsession)

Edit 3:

I need to stop!

Edit 4:

Somebody stop me

I have a couple of decks of playing cards which were bizarrely supplied in transparent rigid plastic cases, rather than normal tuck boxes, and larger-than-necessary ones at that. Quite weird and slightly annoying. I’d need to make some tuck boxes myself to repackage them. I’ve not done that before, but I’m betting that some of you have done. If you have a go-to template/system for a regular 54-card deck of 63x88mm cards (poker-card size) which you think works really well, I’d love to see it.

Made a lot of them, but just using generic templates where you plug in the dimensions each time. Probably using a different one each time I search for one though.

I’m the same a @Benkyo here, just search for one online and they all work well enough.

I have this one bookmarked, presumably for the variety of boxes it provides rather than anything special about it

I’ve been busy solving my Fields of Arle + Tea & Trade problem:

(Printed at speed with a 0.6 nozzle, hence the slightly lower quality)

I even added letters to the outer edge to make putting it back in the box easier.

I have all of Villainous. I made tuck boxes for each villain’s cards and pieces so I can get the whole collection into a couple game boxes.

Now to also do the Star Wars and Marvel ones.
