Yes: 3 to heal a wound if not at the Doctor’s Office, and for the Abandoned Keep Lair card, 3 to start or join the Showdown.

Question to all - am I starting the showdown? I have the movement and the investigation to do so and @RossM has cleared the path

If I am starting it, what do I have to do?

To start it, all you have to do is go to the space, and start the showdown as an action by paying the Investigation cost. You can take other actions before starting it, such as encountering the space, healing etc.

But of course, depends whether you all want to go for it this turn or not and are all ready for it.

Yes best get everyone saying yes. Anne Marie may want her turn first, or others want another turn next round. Or you may want to see if the Shadow Track descends so you can invite Sophie to the Showdown.

Righty dokie! I’m not at home yet but will be in in 30-60 minutes so until I get back you can agree who will join in the showdown and which town elders (max of 2) you will bring with you, then assign which hero has which elder and the militia (max one each).

I’m going to be rolling my Spirit, rather than Combat. I’ve got a Rosary to take me to 6 and an intuitive hunch which takes me to 8 dice for a round.

I’ve also got Jack, who doesn’t seem to be much help. The militia were a merry bunch when I was over here last time.

Are we best trying to get everyone the maximum number of fight dice? 6 seems pretty good so if others are below that and an elder will help them more feel free.

Isabella’s Combat is on 3 base +1 Pitchfork (with a risky reroll) +2 Musket = 6. The Spectral Horseman, being a Ghost, has Combat 5 base +1 for the “Good Doctor” -1 for Isabella’s Cross = 5. And I have some Investigation left to cancel Wounds with. I think I’m not doing too badly.

I’ll Daybreak away Evil is On the Move so that the Lair card definitely goes off.

I believe I am at 9 Fight dice (2 base + 6 (3 books for +2 each) + 1 for Pistol). Wish I still had that Book of Lore for 11, but that last Mystery card could have wrecked us.

Also have the Just a Scratch card to cancel a Wound.

I recommend we bring Harding and Kroft as Elders, for a total of +3 dice, but no preference on who brings them.

Let’s hit the “Good” Doctor first to remove that extra Fight die from the Horseman.
