Well I guess this was the video I was most interested in. Except for the app-based game, which I skipped, I watched the whole thing.

Hollow Pact has some fun ideas. Especially the fact that the players don’t even know which of them has the ‘real’ cargo, and the rest of you are effectively unwitting decoys – that’s hilarious but also thematic, and seems like it could provide for a fun reveal at various points of the game. Definitely curious to see how this one pans out.

Alibis is probably enjoyable, but I have several things of a similar ilk.

Ham Helsing certainly has charming art.

LOTR Trick Taking I hadn’t looked at properly yet, but should do so. It’s an attractive production.

Dragons of Etchinstone … maybe, but gosh I had no interest in Gloomholdin’, so very much wait-and-see. The overview here doesn’t look too complicated or fiddly, though.

Animal Rescue Team (Animal Rescue: Team??) is one that I’d happily learn is excellent, because that’s a theme I can totally get on board with. Fingers crossed. (Or maybe it’s not actually a theme I’d enjoy… a BGG comment says “my partner was excited to try it, but actually playing it found the cards noting animals drowning, trapped in burning buildings, etc.. pretty depressing.”)

Hercules and the 12 Labours is very very shiny (in a literal sense). Beautiful production values. No idea if it’s good from this, but would be interested to see reviews. The powering-up is neat, but looks like it makes the progression of each game rather same-y? I’m wondering how it would hold up against the likes of Dice Conquest.
