Card 3 - choose speaker
Card 4 - free construction
Card 5 - gain trade goods
Card 6 - remove a tactic token from board
Card 2 usually used for protecting one of your systems from invasion or to make use of the unexhaust 2 planets.
As you can see, there is a reason Cards 1 and 7 are usually taken quickly.
Card 8 is usually towards end game or if there is nothing else better to take.
Yeah, I’ll stick with it… going last can actually be a bit beneficial, since it makes secondary abilities happen earlier relative to my own actions (if that makes any sense).
Plus I potentially get a point or two, and failing that I’ll get a new objective, and regardless I get a tasty yellow cube, so I’m not too bad off…
