Yes, I believe so. It is a bonus starbase and doesn’t count against your limit (so you can still build your second when you reach Ascendancy 2).

You also get to take a command token from the Andorians, which you keep until someone else takes control of the system with the starbase in it.

Yes, you can benefit from captured starbases. What you can’t do is deploy your starbase #2 until you have Ascendancy 2. (I moved the Command across in the status dump above, but not the research projects; those are done now too.)

  • Victory check: 5 Ascendancy (not Vulcans), 3 Homeworlds (not Vulcans), Vulcan Agenda
  • Nodes produce:

Ooh now that’s really interesting, and not a way we’ve done it before; I’ve always played it as “you may spend only one type of Resource, and as many as you like”.

Which as I look isn’t in either the original rulebook or the UCR.
