Point of clarification. Whose home world is closest to that Borg ship?

Vulcans bid 2p

Warp range from Borg cube at Indri to homeworlds, assuming no new connections:

  • Romulus 3
  • Vulcan 7
  • Cardassia Prime 10
  • Ferenginar 8
  • Earth 7
  • Kronos 5

Ferengi bid 3p

Bat’leths on the table here: I think the Ferengi are getting too powerful and the Klingon Empire may need additional resources to combat the approach Borg threat.

The liberation of Sherman’s Planet from Ferengi Financial Oppression may serve this double purpose. Although not this turn (surprise attacks are dishonourable).

We shall see if tomorrow (next turn) is a good day to die.

Federation Bids 1 Production.

the Federation does not see Military adventurism as the solution to the Borg threat. Unity, Peace, Concord are the solutions, and shoving photon torpedos (or plasma torpedos) down the Borg throats.

Do the Romulans request aid against the Borg threat?

Oh, hey, it’s my bid! The Klingon Empire bids 4P.

@Assussanni is next!

Please. The Klingons, who can comfortably raise weapons level Twice this turn are arguing that the ferengi are too powerful?

(note that the Borg never bid and always get a random turn order card)

As much as I would love to guarantee going before the Borg, the bid have got too rich for me. No bid from the Romulans. @MIGHTYSploosh to bid.

Dear Federation. We have found some exciting new technology, so much of it in fact that we can’t possibly use it all ourselves. If you would like to help us remove it from Indrii VIII you would be welcome to join us.

… technically with a little luck and planning I could raise my Weapons tech 3 times in a single turn (just not this turn).

But Weapons do not a Level 5 Ascendancy make. Piles of ill-gotten production does that for the Ferengi, and you have enough to get to Level 3 while the rest of us (non-Vulcans) are still at Level 1.

I stand by my statement.
