I did have it in mind to finish Forty Exotic Worlds in a form that other GMs could use the worlds out of in other planetary-adventure or space-opera settings, and to write a gear catalogue for Flat Black, and succinct players’ books for playing effectives and Imperial servants, and thus make the prospect of Flat Black less forbidding to new players. But a friend has persuaded me that this kind of Vancian/Andersonian/Piperian planetary SF is not a thing any more, and that I am wasting my efforts (desultory though they be).
So I have decided to pack it in at last.
I’m not going to ask Our Roger to delete this [sub-] forum. It has a bit of nostalgia value. But don’t expect any more discussions here.
