PBF Roads & Boats "A River Runs Through It" cooperative puzzle

I think B, based on the assumption that infrastructure is more important than points right now

Plan B is not possible. A good cannot be moved by two transporters in one turn (by one player, anyway).

Okay @Benkyo, can you see a way to build both the woodcutter and mine this turn?

No.

(You would have needed to move the donkey currently in the woods to be at the sawmill last turn, and to give up moving those two trunks to the sawmill this turn. Or to have not moved the geese. Or to have built the road from the sawmill to the pasture instead.)

Ok, so the choice is;

Build woodcutter, road and scoring brick

OR

Build Mine

What resources do we use to build the scoring brick? Are we going to want them in the next couple of turns?

2 boards,

We’ve got another 4 coming in next turn and every turn after that

(Boards is probably the only resource we have an ample supply of)

Go for the brick, road and woodcutter then

Mine is therefore the priority next turn.

Plan A as written above?

Let me actually check it, now I’ve found out goods can only move once.

Yes as above

Turn 6
10 WP

Unlike previous turns, please include secondary production instructions from hereon in. You will have use for trunks at some point soon, so I’m not going to assume you’ll process all trunks into boards (though you will here, of course).

Ok, the logs moved to 2-3 should have been processed into boards. (Sorry I didn’t include that.)

It’s fine. That’s all part of this turn, not the last one. I’m just letting you guys know that I’ll be posting the game state after primary production from now on, as that is the only automatic step.

Secondary production- 2 logs into 4 boards.

Donkey at Sawmill moves to mountain with two boards

Donkey at quarry moves to mountain with stone and boards to build mine.

Donkey at southern woodcutter moves logs to sawmill and takes one board to quarry

Donkey at sawmill moves to pasture and returns with one goose.

Donkey at northern woodcutter waits a turn

(Reasoning - Building mine, putting assets in place for raft factory and raft, goose breeding)

Not ignoring. Will have a think tomorrow

I think this sounds ok.

Is the next plan to build a papermill for research?

Yes, when we have enough geese to research. (We need 6)

(Basically were moving into a phase where we can’t build a lot, and we’re just waiting for geese to be bred, so it’s mainly about putting planks into the wonder so we can build on the irrigated tiles.)
