I don’t even see Concordia as a worker placement game. Yes, there are workers, but you only move them when you use the Architect card, and you do not just place them anywhere, but only move them up to the number of movement points you have. Plus, then they just enable you to build at adjacent cities. They do not provide resources or anything after moving.
It just does not provide any of the functionality that I would expect from a game described as a worker placement game.
Reading your listing of Marracash reminds me of the new in shrink copy of the game sitting in the window of the toy store next to my kid’s kindergarten. It’s very reasonably priced and I love that kind of old school euro but those are hard to get to the table and there’s already a queue.
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, Merry Festivus, or just have a great Saturday. Whatever you might celebrate at this time of year, I hope it is happy and healthy for you all!
just about to pass Paris… listening to Sandman Part 2 … back cramped from sitting and wondering why I agreed to spend the whole 25th sitting in a car. never seen such empty roads though.
Hi All, I haven’t been posting here for sometime, but I still stop by regularly so I wanted to wish everyone here a very happy and peaceful holiday period. I hope that it’s brought you all that you wanted, none of what you don’t and keeps that way for a good long time.
