So a small update.
Apparently, I managed to miss their calls often enough that the price improved. Today was the first time however they actually called me while I was not busy.
The offer I got now was indeed very good and it would be difficult to find something similar for the price anywhere in the country.

Like someone gave ya a wild goose
Or a two-mile-tall, immortal, invulnerable frog gathering terrain from the fragments of a long-ago shattered world and storing them in its massive gullet

Visited friends yesterday. Daughter told us that in school for German class they played Daybreak at school as an educational exercise and now they are required to write a review for it 
I love it. Girl was so excited about it. They only had one chance to play the game. If I had known I‘d taken my copy along yesterday. She told us how they first were to inspect the cards and find which ones they thought (before even playing) were the most important projects. And they played just 2 powers in the easiest mode in teams.
They scanned the QR codes on the cards to learn about them just as intended
I also known that my cousin who is also a teacher played Daybreak with his students. Apparently since winning Kennerspiel the game has been promoted to educational tool.
