Oath PBF - My Kingdom for a Horse

In that case and after advisement from @benkyo (throwing you slightly under the bus here, sorry). I exile @yashima paying them 5 favours for their short service to the empire.

Then with little else to do with my secret & supply I gather my advisors and we drunkenly rest.

And so, at the end of a long period of instability and upsets, with the pretender to the throne exiled, the people of the land lay down their arms and declare they have had enough. The Chancellor remained true to his Oath, and the favourite of the people, and remains Chancellor still.

@Chewy77 you have three decisions to make:

1: What Oath will you vow that the future Chancellor will keep? Supremacy, Faith, or Protection?

2: Which of your advisers holds most sway - do you want more Arcane-aligned denizens in this land, or more Beast-aligned denizens?

3: What edifice will you build?
At one site you rule, you may replace one card with a matching edifice. This means you may build any edifice except the Forest Temple (as there are no beast denizens at any site you rule):

Oooh, decisions, decisions…

First of all, thanks to @Benkyo for hosting and his patience with this here newbie, and his support to all of us.

Seecond, thanks to @GeeBizzle for giving me such an undeserved victory on a silver tray. Such show of forgiveness cannot go unrewarded, so here is the Citizenship for the next game. For you and every other Citizen. Hooray!

For the next Oath, I fancy “meself” a bit of Religion wars, so let us go for ye olde Faith Oath. Advisers will be beastly, because Errand Boy is a keeper, and on the Rocky Coast, I will build a Sprawling Rampart and get rid of those old fashioned Tents. Come on, times are a-changing. Tents are so past it.

After a quick reminder of the rules, I will put the Rampart in the Wastes, replacing the garrison. Sorry Garrison!

This is the world at the end of game 2 of the un-named Tekeli-li/SUSD Oath chronicles. The new regime is a religious one, closely guarding its secrets and heavily fortified. 6 more denizen cards are dispossessed, and 3 beast, 2 nomad, 1 discord cards added. Black and Yellow are citizens, while White and Blue are exiles.

Captbnut is starting on the Mine, which means there are two more cards in the Hinterland. @Chewy77 you are free to start.

EDIT: Right, let’s make things happen, I will search on the Cradle deck.

Apologies for the delay, long weekend and crazy at work got in the way.

I will pay two favour to the elders to get one secret and travel to the rocky coast (paying 2 supply) to muster there.

EDIT: And I have now two face down advisers.

Rest.

Chewy77 also used Spirit Snare to take one favor from Nomad before mustering at the Tents.

@yashima is up.

  • I wake up, yawn and collect the Secret token at my site.
  • For 2 supply I travel to the Mine. While there I try my best to avoid getting coal dust (is it a coal mine?) on my signature white cloak–I want to dazzle the local populace later on I think…
  • I sneak a peek at the relic at the mine.
  • For 2 supply I search the Provinces discard pile.

(and await the results of search and relic peeking)

  • I reveal my advisors to trade with Dazzle for 1 supply.
  • With my final 2 supply I will search the world deck… Oops it‘s a vision, I‘ll take it and keep it face down.

Rest.

@geebizzle is up

I’ll spend 3 supply to search the world.

Let’s see what this new world holds for me @Benkyo .

I’ll spend another 3 supply on searching the world deck.

Having taken the pied piper I will spend a secret to send them to @yashima.

I will then spend 2 favour with the elders to get a secret.
I will then share that secret with spirit snare for an further favour. and rest. @benkyo.

“I do feel the empire is overreaching… this is blackmail, this is robbery! I protest! Loudly! Chancellor @Chewy77 call back your gang immediately, or I shall unleash… something.”

Cloudy mutters something under her breath about plans and needing to make them…

Everyone can hear the words “hard-earned favor”

I’ll have you know I had to reject a very handsome horse to take the (slightly more fun sounding) piper.

You did look like you had a lot of favour there.

Thanks, missed the advisor restriction on trade. I’ve edited my post above. @Benkyo
