Oath PBF - My Kingdom for a Horse

Has anything changed since I last answered this? I don’t remember. Last time it was 5 cards, top card Lancers, 3rd card a Vision. Sorry I can’t check right now, but if you look at full res you should be able to count easily enough.

Couldn’t find your previous answer. But since then Chewy searched from the Provinces I think. Thank you. It seems to be at least 5 cards so maybe nothing changed.

I appear to have 2 secrets, 0 favor and 7 supply at the start of my turn.

  • I will travel South to the Shrouded Wood for 3 Supply.
  • I will search the Hinterlands discard pile for 2 supply and see what that gets me.

A wizard school in the shrouded woods

@yashima to continue

  • hand my 2 secrets to my Alchemists: “Make me some gold!” (Take 2 favor from Beast and 2 from Hearth bank)
  • For 2 supply travel to the Salt Flats
  • Pay 1 Favor to the Inn to gain 2 supply
  • For 2 supply search the Provinces discard

Extra Provisions at the Wayside Inn.

@yashima for minor actions. 0 supply, 0 secrets, 4 favor.

  • I spend 1 favor on the tents to travel to the Rocky Coast (I just love the place)
  • I spend 2 favor at the Elders to gain a Secret
  • Because I can I use the Secret to gain a favor from Spirit Snare (taking from the Hearth bank)
  • I rest my weary head in my Tent and listen to the sound of the sea crashing against the rocks below sipping a (hopefully) well-earned beverage provided by the Elders and try to ignore the clinking of weapons and armor from my undead army stationed outside.

Use 1 Secret and 1 Supply to Trade with the Welcoming Party for 2 Favor

Use 1 Supply to Trade 1 Secret to the Disgraced Captain for 2 Favor.

Use 1 Supply and 1 Favor to Muster from the Roving Terror.

Travel to the Rocky Coast for 1 Supply.

Spend 1 Favor on Tents to move to the Buried Giant.

2 Supply to Campaign at the Buried Giant. Burn 1 Favor and use 1 Favor with the Disgraced Captain for +4, and use Longbows for +1.

OK, @Chewy77 what battle plans are you using? You have the option of using the Keep and extra Provisions.

The attack pool is 10 dice (5 warbands)
It looks to me like the defence pool is from 1 to 4 dice, +1 warband.

Look at it this way @Chewy77: your closest ally has betrayed you, as @yashima will be winning this game, barring a miracle. Your fancy scepter was stolen and used to make other people citizens against your will.

Why give @yashima a bigger kingdom to rule in the next game? Make it smaller and easier to take back!

See above edit. And if I can, I would like to pull one warband from the site to my board first.

Oops, disregard.

Is not like I really expanded into the nice bits, is it?

I will use the Keep, not sure if I can use both at once?

Dude, you control all but TWO LOCATIONS!!

[and imagine this in really tiny font: I took one of them last turn]

Yes, you can use any and all battle plans you pay for.

Let’s keep it simple. I will pay to use Keep.

And look what good it did me

Good luck.

Defence pool: 3 dice
Attack pool: 10 dice

Defence roll: 6(!) + 1
Attack roll: 9 (2 skulls)

Extra provisions might have swung it, but it’s a win for COMaestro.
Brutal is only on attack, so the warband at the site returns to the Chancellor.
2 attacking warbands are lost, I’m putting the remaining two on the site.

There is nothing more COMaestro can do, so he Rests.

To @GeeBizzle for the last turn of the game.

@GeeBizzle, Banish @yashima. Rob her of victory!

Pause to see who wants to guarantee my citizenship next theoretic game. @yashima @Chewy77

Also offering citizenship to @COMaestro. Come let us unite the lands.

I refuse! I will not join in with this corrupt government (despite it being backed by the people)!
