Right, sorry about the delay, three days of preparing for my move next week, I have hardly looked a the site, and always through the phone.
I am using two supply to move to Cradle area mountain, and campaigning (using rain boots to ignore defences) against @Whistle_Pig for the People Favour. For that I have to target Whistle Pig meeple, is that right?
I think you have to be where I am, and specifically target the banner.
I thought I had to be in the Mountain with you, but not sure what I was targeting.
I thought you could campaign from anywhere, but would need to be at the same location to recover it.
I will be using my mercenaries.
The rain boots help, but disaster has struck!

Defence pool: 9 (8+1)
Defence roll: 8+3 (x2, x2, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 0, 0)
Attack roll: 4 (1, 1, .5, .5, .5, .5)
Given that Sticky Fire would kill all the Chancellor’s warbands, there’s no decision to be made but to win at all costs. Chancellor sacrifices 8 warbands to seize the banner. Whistle_Pig loses one warband. The Mercenaries and the Nomads move on. Feel free to narrate this Pyrrhic victory.

Pay two more supply to search the discard with the truthful harp.
Use tavern singers to peek at the discard
Spend two supply to search the discard without the harp.
I’ll immediately use those 4 supply to search the world deck, using the truthful harp.
Worked for me in my last game! 
I’ll discard the tavern singers to play the master of disguise as an advisor, and discard the rest of the cards in order from left to right.

Use Spirit Snare to gain a favour from the Discord bank
Spend two supply to travel to the salt flats
Spend a favour for a rest at the Wayside Inn to gain two supply.
Campaign against @COMaestro at the salt flats, targeting the site and the banner, for an ill-advised last stand. Using all two of my brave warbands (and sticky fire, if it becomes relevant)
