Last game you bought?

Took advantage of Chaos Cards’ “UKGE isn’t happening” deals and grabbed a few Button Shy games: Handsome, Antinomy, Penny Rails, Find your Seats, and In Vino Morte.

I think a couple of them are gonna be gifts for a friend whose birthday is coming up. No idea when I’ll see him though.

Damn. Now I have to look at Chaos Cards!

I’m not buying, but they have TI4 at £98 plus an extra 5% off. Best I’ve ever seen it new

Easily one of my favorite “over productions”. Especially after playing the original season 1, the storage option for each fighter makes setting up the game so much easier! Plus it’s gorgeous!

Yeah there’s just something nice about how it all came out. It’s definitely absurd, especially given how light and fluffy the game is, but they really designed it all from a playability standpoint, and it’s hard not to appreciate that. Assuming you have the space for it.

I did it. Also, the Austrian Army expansion was on sale too. I love Richard Borg’s Memoir '44 and Battlelore 2nd ed, so I’m not exactly jumping into the unknown here.

You finally really did it. You maniacs! You blew it up beat me to it.

I’ve been watching for a reasonably priced copy of C&C:Ancients or C&C: Napoleonics for a while (I’m also curious about the new C&C: Medieval)

I like that the Medieval is focused on the Byzantines V Sassanids. Which is a breathe of fresh air!

Went Napoleonics since I love the era more than Antiquity or Middle Age

I want C&C Napoleonics too. I just don’t think I’d get to play it!

How so? It is a 2 player game

Because there is only one other person I know who’s play it with me and I only get to see him at gaming group where we generally play multiplayer games.

I was watching an offer of the Bios triology on eBay for a couple of days. An hour before it ended I had to leave the house on short notice and placed an low-ball offer on a whim. Now I am the proud owner of the Bios triology. Yay!

I’ll go out on a limb and guess you aren’t talking about Basic Input Output Systems: what’s a Bios trilogy?

EDIT: Ahh!

Sorry I should have specified: that’s Bios Origins, Bios Megafauna and Bios Genesis by Phil Eklund and friends.

Took advantage of the UK games exponaint happening on Travelling Man and got Space Base on a whim. Almost got the ‘not Shy Pluto’ expansion but a couple of reviews showed it really isn’t worth it.

Also got Mississippi Queen from Meeples Corner. Support local (to someone) y’all.

I’m pretty bummed… Just got outbid by a buy-it-now on an auction for Bus.

Not been delivered yet, but El Grande Big Box got acquired for a decent price after some drunk, last 2 minutes bidding on eBay last night.

I’ve gone a bit mad through lockdown. I’m not buying anything now until Mercado de Lisboa goes on Kickstarter in September.

Bus is a must have for Splotter fans in my opinion, so keep at it. Getting their trademark gameplay in 60-90 means it can get played a lot. The 3P minimum means that isn’t especially true in my case, but still it’s a dead easy teach and can be tabled multiple times a week. I actually think it’s going to be a good one for/with my folks.

Just grabbed Dinosaur Tea Party, Shadows: Amsterdam, and Captain Marvel: Secret Skulls (a retheme of Bang) for cheap. And I didn’t have to walk round the NEC for ages.

And the next thing you eat probably won’t cost as much as NEC food… making the best of it, and all that.
