Oh wait, no, sorry, the commander isn’t a die.
This is why I check!
Ok. So I want to deploy in madras.
Exhaust 2 regiments and the hired units.
Rolling three dice.
OK, up to you to roll the dice.
@RossM asked for a die roll:
3d6: 4 + 3 + 1 = 8
Reverting to the 2400x2000 map for now, since no-one expressed a preference.
That’s a successful deploy.
£5 one-off loot and £4 for the tower means £9 loot split 4 ways, with £3 going to the commander, the rest effectively lost.
1 trophy to the Hastings family.
Orders opened in Madras.
Position of governor of Madras is now open for the next hiring phase.
Nothing else can be achieved by this presidency, so over to the presidency of Bengal @COMaestro and the commander of the Army of Bengal, @GeeBizzle
Thank you all. That’s a nice long trade route opened up.
If I remain as the head of military affairs, I will be returning the borrowed regiments back to their original locations next turn
I’m going to abstain from action at this time unless someone can make a case for doing something at this time?
Either action doesnt affect the other. You have Up to £7 to use on either or both military and trade actions
The trade action is all setup for you - 3 ships by Bengal and up to £7 in the purse. It’s up to you if you want to continue.
I think the trade greatly benefits yourself
(I think you are both mistaking Geebizzle for COMaestro. Geebizzle is the commander without an army, and I don’t think anyone expected him to do anything.)
Let’s pretend it’s part of the realistic administration we’re pretending to be
Ah fair. Your wigs all look the same, to be fair
Okay, so as long as I am understanding correctly, I can use £6, to roll 5 dice (because -1 die for a different region) trading in the two locations in Bengal and then one location on Maratha (the £4, obviously). Then as long as I roll a 1 or 2 on any of the dice, the trade is successful.
Correct?
That is correct. You can use any amount from 7 to 2 pounds, for 6 to 1 dice.
@COMaestro asked for a die roll:
Okay, let’s spend 6 to roll 5 to trade in the aforementioned areas.
5d6: 6 + 1 + 3 + 3 + 2 = 15
We are excellent at running a company
Our business acumen is beyond reproach.
Successful trade. Please note that which orders are filled by which writers is up to @COMaestro and should be specified - the image is only one example of how it could be done. More northern orders are somewhat more dangerous for the writers, and proximity to closed orders and the crisis elephant can also be significant for India events. Writers have to be placed before filled order markers though, so here the only choice is whether or not to swap the Paxton and Sykes family markers.
That’s £15 for company funds. £3 for the president, £1 each to the Paxton and Sykes families for writer graft.
Moving on,
Bonuses: £1 to families for every fitted ship
Revenue: expenses, pay for debt, regiments/officers, and fitted ships £10 subtracted from company funds. £12 left, which meets expectations, company standing increases
The Chairman @lalunaverde may now pay out dividends to reduce company funds by £7, increase the family treasuries of everyone who has a share (currently £3 to Sykes, £1 to each other family) and increase company standing once more.
Once that decision is made, we see how things go in India…
KA-CHING!!
Yes. Payout pls
