Over to @GeeBizzle for Manager of Shipping
Regardless of whatever the Manager of Shipping does: also to @RossM for Military Affairs.
I’ll use the £2 supplied to fit the indefatigable and deploy it in the east.
That’s not an option, as it costs 3 pounds to fit a privately-owned ship.
Then I’ll pass.
So ami putting all these officers in 2 zones (overkill) or three zones?
that’s a lot of officers. Maybe 3?
I think 2 zones seems sensible. Make one a “sure thing” though.
Pinging @RossM
Suggest overkill, as if not all are used, they can act in defense if things go south again.
We’ve also got all the money for the mercenary units. There’s overkill and then there’s wastage.
Ok. 2 secs
Deploy officers as follows
Bombay 2 blue 1 pink 1 purple
Madras 1 green 1 pink
Bengal 1 purple
Just to confirm @RossM : you are not using the ability to move anything, and you are going for 5 strength in Madras, where an order was just opened by the Director of Trade, there’s only 4 pounds in the treasury probably going to trade, and the tower strength is 3, and 2 strength in Bengal, where the tower strength is 2 and no orders are open, contrary to the plan laid out by the Chairman that you appeared to agree with?
(You are totally in charge of this, of course, I’m just confirming)
Over to @Whistle_Pig as president of Bombay, and @COMaestro as commander.
I forgot about moving regiments. Let me confirm
Also, should I be assigning commanders?
Good call. Yes, in your previous instructions for Bombay, for example, your officers outnumber the commander’s family tokens, so one of your officers would become commander, so that may be an important consideration.
Pinging @RossM
Apologies all. Family emergency. I will move some regiments as soon as I’m home
And move a regiment from each of the two other regions into madras
