Went out looking for three caches today, found one. Nobody else seems to have found the other two for a while, so I don’t feel too bad.

I recently did some geocaching in a park nearby, for the first time since I had a go in the Scouts.
I bought a second hand GPS unit that is unnecessary but quite charming and will hopefully be doing some more with it soon.
Over the bank holiday weekend I took it on a hiking/camping trip and didn’t manage fit in any geocaching but did enjoy navigating. More gadgets should come with solar panels! This has a little interface where it tells you how many minutes of battery life the solar panel has gained over the last 24 hours, and if the charging rate goes higher than the power drain then the battery icon gets a little infinity icon! It’s an impractical gadget when we all have phones in our pockets but really lovely to use.
