Understandable considering the theme, but not really sure it counts for representation.
I know what you mean, but can only suggest that if we’re not merely identifying whether men/women are present then the question suddenly gets a lot more complex and fuzzy. (Also more interesting; but I think it’s ok to have data for the most simplistic and clear-cut form of the question – for starters those results can then usefully feed into or be compared with more nuanced surveys.)
