Async Beyond the Sun on BGA Recruitment

I played a 3 player game of this last week having played a lot of 4 player. It feels pretty different, much more freedom. I’d recommend trying it.

4-player already seems to have more freedom than necessary.

I’m in (Murp) and one of my friends (cwong3) wants to join, too. @Whistle_Pig, shall we?

Anyone for another game?

Sure. I have zero games of anything going on right now.

I would play. But my first move is likely going to have to wait a few hours as we’re returning home today and traveling and BtS is one of those games I’d rather not play on my phone.

I can set something up this evening. No rush

I’m interested!

I’m totally up for another but should probably wait until Monday, I think. If we have overflow or more who want to hold off a few days, I can open a table then, too?

Did we play this game? I’m terribly forgetful…

No idea, but I would be willing to have another go.

Ha! No, we didn’t. But I’m still ready to go, too.

I’m Acacia now on BGA, no longer Murp. Consistency is good. Add me if you start!

I opened a game. If @Lalunaverde isn’t interested anymore, 3 is a fine player-count as well or we’ll find someone else for that spot. Shouldn’t be difficult.

Im okay for another game

What does Warlord means precisely? You only need to control 3 planets at the end of your turn?

You need to be:
a) On three planets (cards or preprinted)
b) Have ships summing to 4 or more on each of those three planets

So a total of at least 12 in ship power, if you can divide it perfectly.

The only time I ever completed this was in my first–very clueless–game… since then I never had so many ships again at the same time. Of course you can do it with just 3 dice…

Thanks  I wouldn’t say this game is luck-based but what random elements there are, this time, they were very much on my side. I have never had the tech-tree evolve like that for me before. Every step helped give me the resources for the next one for half a dozen turns at least. Sure, “never” is not that big of a sample with slightly over a dozen games–but still…
