Anyone for a Whitehall Mystery?

@COMaestro happy with this suggestion?

Yes, with maybe a slight move this way, say between 89 and 90?

Edit:I am apparently too tired and did not notice you already suggested a move. I am good with either location.

Ok, I’ll call it

Red between 89&90 please

Searches/Arrests for Y/B/R please.

(For searches, probably easiest to name all of one investigator’s circles in order, and I’ll stop at the first one that gets you a clue.)

Yellow 97, 107, 108
Red 89, 90, 91 please

Correction, 97 isn’t in touch with yellow, but 89 is.

  • 89: no clue
  • 107: no clue
  • 108: no clue

Blue searches before Red.

Red search:

  • 89: no clue
  • 90: no clue
  • 91: no clue

@pillbox please PM me your next move.

Jack has moved (in a normal, if murderous, manner).

Moves for Y/B/R please.

Yellow is going to keep moving towards the river (109+112?)

I think red should flank Blue (so if Blue keeps going east, red should go North (58-75))?

What do you think @COMaestro? Depending on where Jack has gone, Blue could move into range

That sounds like a good move for Yellow to me.

Blue will be moving to 62 - 46 for its turn, as that will let us check some of the more obvious north-west movements for Jack.

Yeah, I think that’ll be okay for Red as well. So 58-75 for Red.

What he said for red

Searches/arrests please for Y/B/R

Blue will search 63, 62, then 46.

@Captbnut - don’t think it really matters for Red. Say 75, 58, 76?

Yep.

Yellow 109, 112, 93 please

Yellow:

  • 109: no clue
  • 112: no clue
  • 93: no clue

Blue:

  • 63: no clue
  • 62: no clue
  • 46: clue found

Red:

  • 75: no clue
  • 58: no clue
  • 76: no clue

Round 1 turn 3

Jack to move by PM.

Awesome, although now I wonder if that’s actually where he is?

It could just be a wheel of cheese wearing a trenchcoat

It seems likely that was the result of his first move, so he is now one circle away from there, but not 62 or 63.

That leaves a lot: 24, 26, 43, 44, 45, 64, 65, 79, 80, 97. I think that’s all.

Jack has moved normally¹. Moves for Y/B/R please.

¹ bearing in mind the psychology involved, that may be a bit of a stretch, but there was no alley, boat or coach involved.
