The newspaper I read daily has a web comic with new episodes coming out during the week and today’s episode surprised me because it was about a pretty specific aspect of boardgaming. Usually the comic is more about politics and society.
So I thought I want to share it with you and also translate the punchline.
In the first 3 panels the guy is trying to teach a pretty complicated board game while getting the rules wrong all the time and the others are getting frustrated with him till the woman says in the end “Going to a boardgame night and nobody had read the manual is like helping someone to move and nobody had packed the boxes.”
I found that very funny and true. A lot of games got burned that way.
