Well, I finished strong, playing 5 of my unplayed games in December. Three of them, admittedly, were Christmas gifts, and thus newly added to my collection, but they still count!

I managed to complete 60 plays, which I’m calling a win. And I completed 3 full games, which is great, very happy about that, might try to improve on that this year.
December was a good month for gaming, overall, due entirely to playing one game of Twilight Imperium 4th Edition with both Prophecy of Kings and Thunder’s Edge. Still a great game, although I think I’m done with 6 player games of it for a while. Unlike the 8 player TI4, which I doubt I will ever do again, I suspect I’ll get back up to 6 player before too long, but I would like to get some reasonable-length games of it on the table, and I think 4 players would work really well for that.
Also managed to get a couple games of Space Empires 4X on the table, and that’s about it, really… busy month.
Things in Rings is indeed delightful. I’m glad I picked it up and gave it to my partner as a gift. And I’m impressed that I managed to get almost my entire collection played at this point… only a few more plays before I’ve done everything!
Has somebody started the 2026 Challenge yet? Should I? I probably should if nobody else has yet. Congrats to everyone for all you managed to accomplish last year!

I failed to finish all the 2025 challenges.
My 25x1 solos finished at 12 games. Which is okay enough I guess. Those were meant to be big games I wanted to get back to and of the ones I tried I mostly played some of the more than once.
